Tim Milroy Memorial Scholarship
Tim Milroy was a 3-sport All Conference Athlete at
Pecatonica High School. Tim attended
Rockford College playing basketball for 4 years and graduated with a Sports
Management Degree in 2002. While
working on his Masters in Education degree he was assistant coach with the
Rockford College Women’s basketball team.
After receiving his Masters Degree in 2005 he taught at 2 special
education schools in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and coached Middle School
Girls Basketball at the Winnetka Park District. Tim passed away unexpectedly on
January 22, 2009. This scholarship has
been created to honor his commitment to both academics and athletics.

of the following:
a. Junior College

b. Division III School
4. Planning to do at least
one of the following:
a. Play Intercollegiate Basketball

b. Pursue a Degree in Sports Management
or
c. Pursue a Degree in Education
1. Completed Application Form
2. Copy of 7th semester transcript
with Cumulative GPA
3. Written statement explaining
future plans and goals
4. Signed letter of recommendation
from a school staff member
5. Name of at least one other staff
member who can be contacted
